Joe,
For some minor possible problems, I'd add the strict date handling (from the Y2K mania) introduced in VFP 6.0. Also tighter syntax in variable declarations in 7.0. And, of course the potential for newly added system keywords (functions and commands) that might conflict with your own procedures, and the occasional minor change to the parameter list or output from certain functions. Finally, a number of the FoxTools.FLL functions are now native (although some were renamed!).

>We have a large Visual FoxPro 5.0 database application running on Win95, Win98, and Win2K clients PC's (500+) against a network FoxPro DBMS (that is: dbc, dbf, cdx, fpt structure). We plan to update the application to VFP7, but have been reluctant because of client run-time re-installs. However, now with a large share of our client PC's migrated to Win2K, this run-time re-install can be done via a package distribution. What other things should be considered with a VFP5 to VFP7 upgrade ? For example, are there any changes in the DBMS to consider ?
