Dear all,

Recently, one of my client's machine need to take up to 5 mnutes to shut down. What will be the possible facts, and is there any clues to make the time shorter?

The configuration of the machine is:-
Pentium 4 150 GHz
All in one Intel 845G Motherboard
20GB ATA100 Harddisk; 250MB internal Zip Disk at IDE 0
24X CDROM and LiteON 32X CD-RW at IDE 1
256MB DDR RAM

Because some installed programs on the harddisk lost its install program disk, In order to maintain the original setting. I install Win98SE on the original installed c:\windows folder by overwritng it.

The Programs on the machine is :-
Win98SE
MS Office 2000 Standard edition
Norton Antivirus 2000
