Personally, I don't save application data in My Documents. I hate that MS always wants to think for you. You could change the location of My Documents to be the same on both PCs.
My PC at Work (Win 2K) is locked down, but on my PC at home (Win 2K as well), I changed the location of My Documents. I beleive it was as simple as right clicking on My Documents and changing it under Properties. Let me know if that doesn't work and I'll double check how I did it when I get home. HIH Kenny
>I have an application using My Documents and I have two sets of the same data but one is on a 98 and another is on W2K, residing in My Documents. The path to My Documents is hard coded in the W2K machine c:\Documents and Setting ......\My Documents\DirName\FileName.ext now the same data on the 98 machine is just c:\My Documents\DirName\FileName.ext. I doubt if the application will be able to use env. vars.
