Oh yes! but only Delphi Developers???
VC++ Dev: A patetic IDE, confuse code (not necesary for the syntax - but fast, API acces, etc... that oK). A C++ dev (stubborn that is) build anything in the more complicated way possible, because C++ can.
Java Dev: Only beliew in cross-plataform, included the GUI (but the JAVA GUI option is very limited and look "strange". Anyway, a smart chosee for the server side).
VB Dev: Basic, Basic, Basic. Patetic OO. Nobody (smart) VB guy use databound controls. VB NEVER get rigth OO developmen (VB.NET is another story). Complicated thing is done in C++/Delphi like good controls. MS change and break in each VB version...
VFP Dev: A lot of them write code EXACTLY like in FP 2.6 and lower (only with a more beauty GUI). Only a limited portion write in C/S-OO-Multitier, etc... That is worse than the limited support from MS.
For now, is hard to see what happend in the .NET area (C#-VB.NET)
Anyway, is good look the options around and chosee a good path. NEVER take a Dev. environment because the people are "stubborn" with them. If not intelligent reason are provided, then discard that....
I try to do that, and for that i develop & research with Delphi, .NET, VFP, Interdev, etc...
