Look at FoxAudit at
www.takenote.com>The client wants me to keep track of add, edit, delete, and print (who and when) for every record in the app. I would like to automate this as much as possible. For the first three, it seemed the logical thing to do would be to use those triggers now that I finally can use a database. But after some searching, it looks as though that won't work. Triggers don't like you changing the record that the trigger was called from, I guess.

>So I'm looking for suggestions. I have a memo field in each table called "changes" that I was going to store it all in. But if there's a better way to do it, I'm interested in hearing it. The more automated the better, since there's going to be a lot of tables.
