I too have had this problem - nver with a combination of VFP6 and Windows 2000 but several times with VFP7 and Windows XP - a bug in one of them despite what the experts say. I had tried all the expert solutions and none of them worked because what I was already doing should have worked.

I have successfully solved the problem by doing the following (greater minds than mine will say thats rubbish but it works!)

My forms appeared in outline and then disappeared. I found that if I created a blank text box and made this the first in tab order (or the first object to get focus), the problem went away. Likewise if I removed the code from the box which is first in tab order the problem went away.

Try it it worked for me - it could for you.
