>I am new to foxpro coming from fpd26 Dos. I need to know an easy way to allow users on my network to run programs I wrote with Visual Foxpro 5.0 on their machines with out having to Install Visual Foxpro on their machines. I created an exe of my app and copied vfp500.dll and vfp5enu.dll to the network but it still wont work. Surely I dont have to make distributions disks?
When you say users on your network, exactly what do you mean? Are the programmes local, accessing information on another machine or what? I have written apps and copied them locally onto machines, along with the 2 DLLs and they worked fine, without installing FoxPro on those machines or creating any distribution disks or entries to the registry.
