Today, you cannot drive down the road without seeing a #3 in a rear window or plastered all over a garage door still. Yet, most kids favor #24 (and single and married women too which has a lot to do with the 'boos' at the races)! In my area, I'd say it's pretty well balanced overall between 8, 24, and 45 these days with a few #6 fans in there too for some reason (don't know why :o)
