It's always hard to move from something more powerful to something less powerful. I never had to do that, but if I did, I would have written a quicky R/BASIC program to extract the multivalues rather than do it in VFP. Of course, since the file format and the @MV character were also well-know, it wouldn't bee too hard with a low-level file funtion, either.
>You forgot to mention the part about having to do a conversion from AREV to VFP tables. Then the multivalue field was no fun at all. Every time I think about AREV, I break out in a cold sweat. ;)
