And it keeps getting more frustrating. In an attempt to see if there was a line of code somewhere causing my problem, I put som WAIT WINDOW status messages in the form's INIT method. Well, of course, the error doesn;t occur then! if I remove all the WAIT WINDOWS, the error comes back. Put at least one in there - no problems! A delay issue? Why now, the code is the same, so is my computer I am running it on.

>I am having a similar problem when activating a form containing an ActiveX control. If I execute the program from within VFP (compiled EXE), I do NOT get the error. When I run my program outside of VFP. I get the OLE Object May Be Corrupt error the first time I try to acces the form containing the object. If I select Ignore and then close the form and try again, it works fine.
> This is using VFP7 SP1 under WinXP and Win2K. I've tried SYS(2333,1) and SYS(2333,0) before instantiating the form (actually a class - invoked with CREATEOBJECT) with no difference either way. The best part about it all (typically) is that it USED to work fine. I have not made ANY changes to the form containing the ActiveX, nor have I changes OS versions or patch levels, and the OCX is still the exact same one it was when it worked.
