If it'still in the Recycle Bin, no problem; it's a matter of simply restoring it from the Recycle Bin, and if it's in the Recycle Bin, the identity of the user who put it there is stored. If it isn't in the Recycle Bin, you're pretty much hosed - there are some (commercial, ie not free, ie you're going to have to spend money to find out if they'll help) from WinTernals (www.wintenals.com) - they are your best bet if you've lost it from the Recycle Bin, especially if you're using an NTFS file syste.

If the folder is not in the Recycle Bin, the identity of the user who deleted the file is lost unless you'd previously enabled auditing of file actions on the share, in which case, you check your audit logs for the information. No audit log and no Recycle Bin means you have no clue as to who did it.

>Any help would be very appreciated
