It's been a few years, but if I remember correctly, the maximum number of records in a Dbase III file is 2 billion. In those days we considered it to be limited by the hard disk size as we never dreamed of reaching 2 billion records and most PC users had <2GB hard disk sizes. I may not be remembering correctly though!

>My shop still uses old dbase III+. I am slowly getting to these programs with vfp7. Does anyone still remember what was the maximum amount of records that dbase III+ allowed?
