Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I have a table with a field called picture in it, this holds the filename of a bitmap which corresponds with that particular record. my question is how to place this bitmap into the clipboard so that it can be pasted into other apps.
I would also like to know how to show this bitmap on a report as it only allows you to reference a general field or a name when you are creating the reoprt in the designer
