IS help says, that it looks in the following folders for merge modules on my machine:

C:\Program Files\InstallShield\InstallShield Express Visual FoxPro Limited Edition\System\
C:\Program Files\Gemeinsame Dateien\InstallShield\Modules\i386

'Gemeinsame Dateien' is something like 'shared files'.

Maybe it helps if you copy the msm to one of these folders. You can get to this place in the help file by clicking the hyperlink "Merge Modules" on the lower right of the IS page, where the merge modules are listed.
