Hi,

I am working with a Menu on my toolbar. However, I have only just started, so I'm pretty new at the whole menu thing! Anyway, I am trying to disable a menu item (called 'Start'),which is a sub menu item of 'File', when you click a command buttom on the form.

I believe (but am not 100% sure), that to do this I use the SET SKIP command, but I can't seem to get it to work.

The menu name is called mnutoolsmain
The item I wish to suppress is called 'start' which is under 'tools'

Also I would like the 'start' item to disable itself if it's selected

Can anyone possible help?

Thanks in advance, from a new Foxpro 7 programmer!

Rob
