I think this is what I was looking for but could you give a few more clues as to how you 'read' #Temp and 'convert it into an updatable STP cursor'? Which commands are you using?

Also, how do you append the data? Assume there are 10,000 to 50,000 rows in the VFP cursor (in other words, append would be faster than Scan with an Insert.)

Does #Temp need an index for the nested query?
