OpenRowSet() and perhaps even OpenQuery() appear to have possibilities, if not for this problem, certainly for others. I don't see any examples in the docs or any of my books so I'll just have to tinker with the commands to see what they actually do (often slightly different from what the documentation says they do.) This application shares data with another that uses a VFP Database. Finding ways to move data between them isn't always straightforward.
