Yes and no - dependent on what you want to do.
In VFP7 there is a new option for SELECT - SQL:
INTO CURSOR CursorName READWRITE
This will put result of query into a cursor, and you then can change fields of theat cursor. There is no any automatic approach though for organizing update of tables by changes in such cursor. You still require to use views for this purpose.
