Hi Tracy,
>Having a list of features to be included in VFP8 would go along way in convincing management to budget for it next year instead of looking closely at other development languages instead.
have a look at
http://www.levelextreme.com/conferences/Prague/2002/#Keynote You will find some features of VFP8 there. Additionally, if this is still in time for you, after the 30th of September everyone is free to talk about VFP8, since this is the day where Ken does the keynote at the Advisor DevCon. The VFP8 beta will be given away to all attendees.
>Just wondering if it is possible that converting reports to html or pdf are planned features of VFP8? I now there are tools available to do this, but some development languages have these features included (i.e. Delphi) and it would be great for it to be included in VFP.
You can convert a report to HTML in the current versions of VFP (see _GENHTML). If you will be satisfied with the result is another thing ...
HTH,
