>thanks again for your response. I did mean if I were to start the system a system now and would later decide it would be nice to utilize a Framework, could I pull the Framework in after I have already started. You answered that question with a negative. My problem is that I need to start ASP since I am alreay about 5 months behind on the project and may not have to time to evaluate codemine prior to starting.
I'm also a CodeMine user. It's really easy to get started with it and be productive fast.
I'm sure that you already figured out that it would be definitely be better to use a framework before beginning making your app. If you want to have a good idea of what CodeMine is all about download the demo. You can get it at
http://www.codemine.comI don't think that whatever framework you use it would be an easy task to port your app to that framework. Frameworks have their own classes methods properties. So in the end it's better to rewrite the app. to be sure to exploit all the potential of the framework.
I'd compare it to porting a fox 2.5 app to VFP. It can be done without rewriting it but you won't use some of the cool stuff provided by VFP.
