You should look on the form sizes, not ta the last control
The form size can be more, than 983
I refused from VFP scroll bars.
What I do.
I put many controls, some are outside the form.and put my self made scrols and they move controls ( change their height)
I was able to put 100-200 controls and to make form navigation
