The article is "Multi-Tier application development with VFP and VB" by Alberto Rodriguez.
He gave, what I thought looked like, a simple, easy example. He had left out a couple things for beginners, like the DSN needs to be created, but I was able to figure that out after reading some of the other articles and books that I found on ADO and VFP. I can get this example to work if I have all the procedures in the same project, instead of the tier as he is showing, which is why I have a gobal variable in my example.
The Sql string is exactly the same in both places, because I made sure that I did not re-type it, but copied it.
