Yes, the text boxes in my grid are the VFP base textboxes. I assumed that since I was using a subclass of the cbizobjmaintenanceform that the text boxes in the grid automatically had the cSeekTag and cLocateExpression properties. I did go into the grid builder and change the DefaultColumnControl entry to cGridTextBoxMaintenance but that didn’t change the current grid text boxes. Like you mentioned in your email, only when I created a new column did that column text box get created as a cGridTextBoxMaintenance text box. All that to say that I need to reset one of my current VFP base textbox’s in my grid to cGridTextBoxMaintenance and then apply the incremental search to that column. Thanks for your help!
