In my humble opinion... Yes your right VFP is a 3 to 6
month learning curve just to get started.

I look at Access as an 'in house development tool' and
VFP as a power tool.

If your looking at SQL server (etc) then VFP is what you
want. I hear VFP's purpose in life is to be an SQL Server
front end.

As Mark Twain said; 'The reports of my death have been
greatly exagerated...'. So has VFPs...
