Hi Ounis

The Serial port is not a device (does not stores files)..

Using Serial port you can stabilish only a conection between CPU and other external devices..

So, there is some important stuffs to be knowing:

. What kind of external device are you planning to connect to
. Is there a communication protocol to access this device
. What about the speed, databits, stopbits.. parity


There is a OCX named ms communication control used for this purpose..
