No... it was an Elephant on my Desk that i have confused witha tree!
The example that i've posted was erroneus .. infact in reality i used:
cStmt = '--vDummy' + CHR(13) + 'DROP vDummy'
I was sure that chr(13) was enough to split in two lines!
