The JDK (e.g. Java Developer Kit) should be the same on Apple as it is under window, linux, Unix, etc. I assume Apple's claim to imporved java is a result of improvement to their hardware speed and graphic, and any addon products they make available which would not come under the Sun License. I'm I correct in this?

I haven't a clue, Leland.... But, it seemed to me that mentioning java in their speedup claim would be unnecessary if java wasn't part of the speedup, but only due to hardware. Why tout another company's product if the improvements weren't due to it?
