Just about everything you need is available in native VFP (you should have at least VFP 6 sp5). The technique is to call VFP mtdlls from ASP or ASP.NET. There's a free framework called ActiveVFP that makes web development with VFP mtdlls a lot easier. VFP web services also make use of VFP mtdlls in a similar way, so, it probably makes a lot of sense to learn this technology...
