Tom,
Probably October or November - i need to finish up another project that will last thru the end of Sept.
It's always 1 mtdll that can be Unloaded (BTW, there's code in the file downloads here for a Project Hook that automatically does this).

>Claude, when is version 2 expected to be released? Are you going to use the "Proxy" pattern to only require a single DLL that all PRG/VCX based classes get called from? I really like having only a single DLL that has to be loaded/unloaded.

>>Gary,
>>yes, I tried it and it works as advertised. I was going to use a "file-based" ISAPI connector for debugging, but, this looks much cleaner and smoother. As soon as I finish something else I will do V.2 that will include greater ease of use generally and ASP.NET functionality using the same VFP mtdlls used for ASP.
>>As far as speed and robustness, I don't think VFP mtdlls can be beat for web applications - see message #627606 . On top of this they're much easier to set up and deploy...
>>>Well spotted Claude!

>>>This is a great example of a Fox "DieHard" getting around a problem with an fairly ingenious use of IAccessible. Its not that what he has done is that difficult. Its just the creative use of what is already there - something you have been advocating for some time now. I have downloaded the source and will look at it later. Have you used it yet? Does it work as well as it appears it should? Can you build elements of this solution into ActiveVFP? A sort of 1.6 version <s>.
>>>
>>>By the way Claude, how would a VFP MTDLL solution using classic ASP stand up to a Web Connect app in COM mode as far as speed/robustness is concerned?
