I have had problems over time with using the ms datepicker and calender controls on deployed workstations. There is a calender control in the download section that emulates almost perfectly the functionality of the ocx control, but is all vfp. I would suggest trying that, it has made my life easier. I am not sure of the file name to download, but I think it is vfpcalenderx.
