My program handles state and local withholding. However, at this point there is not a board enough base to justify include the formulas of all the taxing authorities, so this must be entered manually after looking up the withholding amounts per the state and local withholding tables. The program does include the formula per IRS publication 15 to calculate federal withholding and social security automatically. If a base developes, I may begin to gradually add state and local withholding formulas to the payroll app.
