When creating a view in foxpro 6 using 'create sql view' called say 'temp' and then selecting it Straight after I am getting Alias 'temp' is not found!

The same thing works fine in foxpro 5

if i put brow between creating it and then selecting it, it is displayed with the appropriate info which shows it is being created and it is present
and then lets me select it but of course this is no good.

Any Suggestions anyone?
