Hi Ron,

>When I bring in datetimes with the time element of 12:00:00 AM...when I view the table in the Enterprise Manager I do not see a time element in the corresponding datetime field. When I change the time element in the VFP Table to 12:00:01 AM (1 second past midnight) and redo the export import process...the time element shows up in the Enterprise Manager as it should as 12:00:01 AM.

IMO this is an Enterprise Manager issue. It simply doesn't display the time portion of the field if it's 00:00h (=12am). Just copy the Select statement from EM to Query Analyzer (which gives you a more "raw" view of your data) and you will see the correct time. AFAIK it's not possible to store an "empty" time portion at all. It always defaults to 00:00h, if ommited.
