FWIW, if I ever do business application development on the Linux desktop, I'll probably use Kylix or something like it. I'm a VFP developer, and I doubt I'll ever grasp C++, and that's where the emphasis seems to be right now. But I wouldn't be surprised if that changed in the near future. The latest releases of KDE and Gnome, along with Microsoft's licensing, seem to be making Linux a viable option for the desktop. As more corporations choose that option, I think tools like Kylix will prosper. In any case, in spite of their past licensing blunders, I really like the direction Borland is going by supporting every major platform out there.
