And don't forget the ever popular "Handling Charge" that Customs gets on top of tax and duty. Somehow, I guess, they manage to be able to tell that some items don't need duty and tax charges without actually 'handling' them. I've often wondered what exactly these people get paid for if I have to pay them separately to 'handle' stuff.
