I agree that the fix is easy. However, when you have one form that you use as your popup form (with parms to display the correct popup info) and you have 200 valid routines (or more), it just seems a lot simpler and cleaner to have one form that somehow leaves focus on the get field like messagebox than to put code in the 200 valid routines.
In most cases the form does need to be given focus. It'd be nice if a form had a property that you could set to tell it to ignore focus or leave focus where it is. Hmmm, maybe a future enhancement to VFP?! 8?)
