As Armin pointed out wwXML will do this for you and it's free. It includes XML parsing routines for XML that CURSORTOXML()/XMLTOCURSOR() can't handle (including objects) and includes the HTTP facilities to send data back and forth using the LoadUrl() method.

It sounded easy enough, but somehow I cannot get this to work. I have used WinInet to communicate XML with a soap server without any problems, but I cannot quite get this method to work.
