I have ran into some weirdness when using the kodak control on a MereMortals form, so I created a standard vfp form for this part of the system and it worked fine (sorry, can't remember the details of the problems I had).

Try to create a very basic form, add the control there and keep adding the other controls/functionality until it breaks.
