Foolish? It sure seem like it when you look at it like that. But what would you do in an event like this, when you need to make your decision in a fraction of a second? I've been robbed 7 times so far in my life and I don't know what I could do if I had a chance of catching a thief, so I can relate to this guy. He surely have an insurance, but his premium will have surelly gone up if his truck was stollen. So he would loose anyway.
In a sense, he is a hero. How many more victims this guy would have made if he wasn't catch?
If his decision was purely driven by his truck, then I agree that his decision was foolish.
>This guy risked his life for his truck. Hasn't he heard of insurance? This is foolish. The theives could have killed him, the truck could have been in an accident.
