I have been searching successfully recently, and nothing has changed in my set up...I just did a search and rec'd this message from the UT:

An important section of the HTTP header required by our server to allow you access to this option has been hidden by your browser.
Here is a list of possible causes:

Are you using a proxy? Some settings in proxies may allow the HTTP_REFERER variable to be hidden. If this is the case, you'll have to adjust the settings or let the network administrators know about it so they may apply the proper adjustments.
No, I am not using a proxy

If you are using Norton Personal Firewall 2002, make sure that Enable Browser Privacy checkbox is unchecked.
I am not using Norton Personal Firewall 2000

If you are using Norton Internet Security 2002, make sure that Enable Privacy checkbox is unchecked.
I am not using Norton Internet Security 2002

Some of our lists are being opened in a new window. Some of them relates to a pick list which requires that functionality. If you use an utility such as AdSubstract or similar, make sure you open the gate to allow the opening of new windows for the Universal Thread site.
I am not using any such utility

Do you have the impression that you are not getting the actual data? We have faced the situation so far that some companies have configured their proxy to cache the transactions that you are doing to any Web site for a specific number of days. This results that you are always getting outdated data for most of the time. This setting is very bad. If you have some assumptions that this might be in place, you might want to verify that with your network administrators.
yes ;-) I have the impression that I am getting NO data

Our site makes extensive use of some standard information that should be submitted as is from any browser. Make sure the HTTP_REFERER variable is not blocked as this is some standard information that should be broadcasted as is for any transaction you do in your browser.
