I need to have phone number entered as 999-999-9999, and I do want the - (minus) sign to be saved in the field in this particular situation. I have 999-999-9999 in the InputMask and T in the Format.

However, when I am adding a new record, the - sign doesn't appear until the record is saved (there is just a blank space in its place). Can someone tell me how to have this appear when the record is being added.
