Hi,

We have been converting our VFP table to a .txt for upload to an ISP for our website. After the ISP reorganized the company, our special european (scandinavian) character doesn't show rigt on the webpage, and the isp says the special characters shoudl be converted to the å style.

We send these chaacters according to the ASCII table as published by OBM with their origianl PC anno circa 1981. Æ, Ø and Å -they show correct on my screen here.

Specifically: hex 86, 8F, 91, 92, 9B and 9D. The latter two, actually cent and yen signs which we don't need much - since IBM forgot the slashed O....

I think this is right, and that å etcetera belongs in HTML code, not in .txt files.

I hope somebody with web experience can set this issue straight.

Rolf
