Hi!
Its hard now to tell what is causing grid to do not draw lines in required back color. All that I did in my testing form - set "BackColor" of grid control and that did the trick - entire grid, include all columns and rows and empty area got that color.
Well, I can look at your form and tell what is wrong, if you can send it to me...
