I've checked their site. It says:
Totally backward compatible, we won't abandon you!
Current DynaZip users, don't worry, your software investment is totally safe; we'll never abandon you by creating new, incompatible APIs (unlike some other tools vendors). In fact, ever since version 1 of DynaZip you've been able to easily migrate your applications, usually only requiring small changes and a recompile. The same is true for version 5, and will be true for future versions to come. However, I think, they may change something...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
