The meme relationships in KDE are maintained through Konqueror. I am not at my Linux box right now, but when you go to tools- options you will get a two panel display. ONe of the icons in the second panel leads to the settings of extensions to applications. Find the *.html and change it's default from Konqueror to what ever.
