>I just did that and came up with several hits. There are several people here who are totally fed up with "bloated goats". I want to write a VFP application that will replace Notes. I'll need to interface with email, calendar, and contacts. I'm not concerned about the databases at this time, but I will need to address it down the road.

You don't want much, do you. ;-)
Actually, you are concerned about databases at this point. Mail and calender events are stored in the user's mail database. Contacts are stored in the user's private addressbook database as well as those in the public addressbook database.
If you were going to be at DevCon, I could show you some stuff. But since you're not, I can throw some code samples together (if you want) and send them to you. What kind of time frame are you looking at?
