Certainly, if it is an XP issue, other testing programs will be impacted as well. So I'd expect the issue, if it hasn't been addressed yet, will be in an upcoming SP.

I have MS Updates on Live all the time. XP is as updated as it gets. Are you saying the Test Harness works for you in XP?

Rick Schummer has said he has confirmation from MS that is doesn't work. There are papers on the MS Website about how to test testing programs with XP - but they obviously never did this with the test harness (yes, I realize this shipped before XP) The paper that is supposed to outline the differences is a placeholder from April.

I will try to step through the test harness, but I don't think the part that is crashing is going to be accessible in the VFP debugger.

I've sent a message to John Koziol on this. Kind of surprised no one else here on the UT has mentioned it, thought maybe I just missed it.

Doesn't anyone else use the Test Harness?

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
