I support a rather compliated insurance application that is curretly in VFP. I have a corporate directive to have part of front end data gathering piece of the application on the web by mid-spring 2003. I am extreamly familier with VFP but never developed a web based application. There are only two of us, application developer and network manager. Time and money are limited. To make a long story short, if I was to decide to use FoxPro as our web database as opposed to MS SQL, here are my questions concerns.

1) How secure is VFP verses MS SQL in a web enviornment?
2) How/where do I start to gain information on the proper installation and configuration of a VFP Web database from the security point of view.
3) What are the top 2 most commonly used verses most flexible web screen design tools that is compatible with a VFP database?
4) What is the most efficient way to find and hire an experience VFP developer for a tempoarary/part time 1 to 3 month consulting contract basis.
5) If I can take only one class, what is the best one for an experienced developer to take that gives me the basics on setting up a Web based VFP database?
