And the answer was ...? Since you don't mention it I assume it was "Yeah, it's broke, nobody cares, don't plan on it getting fixed. We cannot guarentee compatibility of latest released versions of MS products with latest MS operating systems"
(yes, I know the Test Harness is just a goodie and not an MS product - just disappointing that a)more people don't care it's broke b) this late into the game nobody has fixed it < sigh > )
