The following email was sent out by Bill Ward a short time ago. The FoxPro community has lost a longtime, valuable, and much-loved contributor:

Tom died unexpectedly early this morning. He was down with the flu all last week. He still felt bad enough on Saturday that he decided to cancel his Devcon trip to Florida. He seemed to be recovering on Sunday. Unfortunately, he took a turn for the worse on Monday and was rushed to a local hospital Monday evening in very serious condition.

He had massive organ failure and, finally, cardiac arrest early this
morning. We don't know the exact cause of death but it was probably a
severe case of the flu.

Tom truly treasured his Foxpro experiences, his time as an MVP and his
friendships in the Foxpro community.
